NEP via Mediatec Solutions to Acquire Bigélius Produktion Uniting Two Leading Service Providers in the Nordic Live Events Industry PITTSBURGH, UNITED STATES and KUNGÄLV, SWEDEN (September 1, 2016) — NEP Group Inc. (‘NEP’) announced today via its subsidiary Mediatec Solutions that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Bigélius Produktion (“Bigelius”) from the current owners. Financial terms were not disclosed. This transaction will bring one of the Nordic region’s largest and well renowned live events companies into Mediatec Solutions and NEP’s growing worldwide network of brands. Bigélius Produktion is a well-established premium and high quality AV company mainly focused on the Swedish and Nordic live events market. The company has its roots in audio and has been a partner of Mediatec for some time delivering excellent solutions to their clients. The company has offices in Enköping and Stockholm, Sweden. For the second year in a row we have on Mediatec been chosen to be the technical full service supplier to the Brilliant Minds at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm. Brilliant Minds is part of the Symposium, founded by Arash “Ash” Pour Nouri and Daniel Ek. After four days of construction work and rehearsals took one of the most hyped event in time. Two afternoons were filled with a mix of lectures and discussions about business, tech, media and culture – all with a focus on creativity, collaboration and future. Among the speakers appeared some of Sweden’s and the world’s top entrepreneurs and business leaders, including Ericsson CEO Hans Vestberg, serial entrepreneur Antonia Ax: son Johnson and Niklas Zennström, founder of Skype. Mediatecs delivery included the impressive image solution comprising a total of 160 square meters LED, lighting, sound and camera. – The technical solution is among the best I’ve worked with. Eurovision Song Contest is the largest music contest in the world and one of the most viewed television programs annually. Last year in Copenhagen, Denmark Mediatec Solutions was proud technical event supplier and supplied 1000 sqm LED screen, large Led‐floor solution in combination of 40 pc of the Barco HDQ ‐2K40, 40 000 Ansi lumens Projector, the largest projector on the market for live events. Luckily the swede Måns Zelmerlöw won the whole contest and Sweden became host of the contest this year. During the following weeks in the middle May the capital Stockholm and Sweden will turn into a city of glamour, national flags and interesting dresses. 10th – 14th of may will the contest continue. The S90 marks a giant step forward for Volvo Cars. The Swedish car maker is better known for its SUVs and estates, but with the launch of the S90 Volvo is clearly intent on shaking up the premium sedan segment with its distinctive executive class sedan. Volvo invited the assembled media to their HQ and design center in Gothenburg for a spectacular afternoon. The reveal was created in the mood of clean Scandinavian design where the raw tree feeling was collaborated with sophisticated technology solutions. For example, a giant LED screen was used as both interior design element, video screen and presentation tool. Mediatec was turnkey technology provider for the pre press release event.
