Biathlon Antholz
The last Biathlon Worldcup before the Vancouver Olympics took place between the 19th and the 24th of January. Thanks to a three year contract with EBU (European Broadcasting Union) Mediatec group were the broadcasters. An OB truck was provided alongside OB-technicians, camera operators and slowmotion operators. The production was performed by HD 6 with 24 cameras, 5 EVSes and two Supermotions. Mediatec Sweden supplied two Sony remote cameras for the close-ups of the targets.
The production concept has been worked out by the director Johan Bernhagen.
